Hi again,

Although version 3.5.3-2 seems a bit more stable, I am still experiencing regular crashing, even with Java disabled.

I imagine that if I submit a bug report, it's best that I use a version of libreoffice direct from TDF rather than through my linux distro?

If that is the case, can someone tell me where to get the corresponding debug info from?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi :)
For bug-reporting these 2 guides end-up with roughly the same result. Noobs to
OpenSource might prefer the 2nd link but i suspect you might prefer the 1st one

I'm glad to hear most of your crashing is fixed by going back to the 3.4.6!
Which version of java are you using now?
Tools - Options - Java

Although reverting to version 3.4.6 stopped some of the crashes I was
experiencing, I find that I still get regular crashing on certain files.

One particular problem is that trying to copy-and-paste from a master document
containing 8 sub-documents into a new document causes instant crashing.

And some other spurious files seem to provoke regular crashes.

So my questions are:

1. Any suggested work-arounds for the master document problem?
2. Is it worth my while getting a debug output for these other crashes? And
where should I report it if I do?

Thanks,
Jonathan
