I think i would post the bug-report anyway and just add a line to say which 
distro you are using.  

t might be a good idea to post a bug-report in your distros bug-report system 
at the same time and give the url address of each bug-report in the other so 
that people can click from one to the other.

experiencing regular crashing, even with Java disabled.

I imagine that if I submit a bug report, it's best that I use a version 
of libreoffice direct from TDF rather than through my linux distro?

If that is the case, can someone tell me where to get the corresponding 
debug info from?
