Ah, yes.  Excuse a Debian bigot who's been working too much with
incompatible Fedora RPMs on our RH5.  I'm probably not the best person
to produce spec files...

It occurs to me that one possible disadvantage of the Fedora RPMs is
that they are for a non-shared installation in the standard system
directories; that's less manageable than sharing between the nodes from
/opt.  The RPMs from http://arc.liv.ac.uk/downloads/SGE/ install under
/opt/sge, though I intend to provide the option of a Fedora-like setup,
and I'd be happy to have any necessary fixes for Fedora.
