I'm not the only user on all nodes. Here's what I see on node04 (bad) vs
another (good), and they look the same to me:

[root@node0 ~]# ssh node04 ps -e f -o user,ruser,command|grep sge
dsmith03 root     /opt/soge/8.0.0e/bin/lx-amd64/sge_execd
dsmith03 root      \_ sge_shepherd-390755 -bg

[root@node0 ~]# ssh node10 ps -e f -o user,ruser,command|grep sge
dsmith03 root     /opt/soge/8.0.0e/bin/lx-amd64/sge_execd
dsmith03 root      \_ sge_shepherd-390757 -bg

Are you the only user in all nodes?

Normally the sgeexecd should run as root, although it advertises to run as the
admin user:

$ ps -e f -o user,ruser,command
USER     RUSER    COMMAND
...
sgeadmin root     /usr/sge/bin/lx24-em64t/sge_execd
root     root      \_ /bin/sh /usr/sge/cluster/tmpspace.sh
sgeadmin root      \_ sge_shepherd-61837 -bg
...
