Usually they are sent from from root and often some settings are done in 
sendmail/Postfix to change this sender address to a different one (pointing out 
in some way that they originated from SGE).

I posted it some time ago how to implement this in sendmail (or postfix) (as 
"root" should be mangled here, what is not done by default). I can't find it in 
short-term, but I'll look it up.

Maybe it's done on some of your servers.
