When I initially tried that, based upon the example from the install manual, it
complained about it with the following error msg:

The Apache service named reported the following error:
>>> Invalid command 'PHPIniDir', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not
>>> included in the server configuration .

I assume that this was because the module was not loaded (it was commented out
due to the other problem) so it did not know about the command name yet. Once
the other problem is resolved, I plan on going back and doing it this way.

Thanks,

Martyn T. Griffin

The phpinidir directive helps too (fwiw - it's the DIR not including 'php.ini'
filename).
