[users@httpd] force a secret key access

HI, list:

          I need a environment like this: Web client needs a private key(or given PKCS12 file) to access my web server; if they cannot provide the expected FILE, he will be rejected. My boss said it's feasible, I searched around but found nothing useful. can anyone give me some directions?
