The Kannel RedHat RPM is old and probably was not created that well in the first 
place. RedHat itself is noturious for those dependency problems as they tend to change 
the "provides" on their library RPMs w/o notice, and sometimes w/o updating the RPM 
macros that determine dependencies. 

If you are sure that you have the required libraries, then simply install with 
--nodeps. alternativly you can download the source RPM and rebuild it on your machine 
- this is quite easy, and is the easiest way to solve dependency problems.
