Are you sure minicom responds when you enter /dev/ttyUSB0? If yes, maybe it's a permission issue.

I have used minicom & derived on the appropriate AT commands for init strings. Did a lot of googling & did not find solution for my problem. Please suggest a solution & let me know where am I going wrong with my setup.
