Hi Musab,

Just one clarification. When LISPmob works as a MS/MR, the MR will only reply to the mappings configured in the MS. It doesn't interact with ddt nodes.

Best regards

Albert

Hi Musab,

Sure it is! You can checkout the branch 'experimental' [1] which includes support for MS/MR. Make sure to enable Map Server operation in lispd.conf and to fill out all the required parameters there. Likewise the 'pxtr' branch, experimental is not released yet and may contain bugs.

Best,
Alberto

    Hi Alberto,

Thanks for your reply. Is it also possible to setup a map-server
locally? I want to have a full lisp mobile node network in the lab
    please.

    Thank you.

    Hi Musab,

In order to use LISPmob as a PxTR you should checkout the branch
'pxtr' [1] and follow lispd.conf.example instructions to configure
it. Note well that PxTR code has not been officially released and
has gone thought little testing. We offer it as a best effort, but
we can provide little support. The PxTR feature will be eventually
merged into the upcoming 5.0 release.

    Best,
    Alberto

        Hi,

I recently learned that I can set up a PxTR in the lab with
        the new lispmob-experimental (potentially lispmob 0.5.0). I
have downloaded the package but can't set up the tunnel router
and other relevant components as there is no documentation
yet. Can someone please guide me towards setting up LISP
        locally in the lab?

        Thank you,
