I don't know how is implemented in Fritzboxes but it should work. Do

have connectivity with native Internet and other EIDs ? Does the WAN
IPs
of both routers belong to the same LAN?

Connectivity to the native Internet works, but not to other EIDs.
The boxes have different WAN Public Ipv4, see
