Hello all,

I've recently returned to the world of OpenSAF after working on some other
stuff. In the time I was diverted OpenSAF moved from 1.0-2 to 1.0-4. After
upgrading my OpenSAF installation I'm seeing some problems using the avsv
CLI, namely:

# /opt/opensaf/controller/bin/ncs_cli_maa

cli idle time is 300 seconds
ncs cli user is an authenticated super user.
NCS>enable
NCS#configure terminal
NCS-config#avsv
NCS-config-avsv#set safNode=PL_2_4 adminstate unlocked

Basically, all 'set' commands give the same error. This seems fairly
'random' at the moment, in that if I reboot OpenSAF on all nodes (inc.
controller), next time the same commands work. It seems to be happening
about 1/2 the time I start OpenSAF.

Any ideas on how to diagnose what's causing it?

Thanks and regards,

John
