I used CHIRP with my two BTECH B-1 FRS rados, to put in tones for four
channels, so that I could use it with the radios at the museum that I
volunteer at. All of the radios are Baofeng, and, all have been
programmed with CHIRP. but, none of the tones that I used for my two FRS
radios would work with those on the other radio. my two worked fine,
between themselves. both on those that have a tone, and those that don't.
and, these two radio will be heard on other radios, that don't use a tone.
After several emails to BTECH. I used thiersoftware, to put the tones onto
the four channels that I needed them on, and, now my FRS radios will
work with all of he other radios I have tried them with. So, there must be
something wrong with the tones that CHIRP uses for these FRS radios. Since
there is no real debug file, I don't tink, I didn't submit this that way.
