The thing is it is not coming from the browser. Network manager has a
component which handle that "captive portal page". So my browser is not
launched at all. Basically when the computer connects to the wifi
network Network Manager launched a "browser like" application and
display the captive portal page. I have found some bugs affecting that
part which are 6+ months old but do not help me with my problem.

Bug I am talking about is:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1252839

Thank you.

And I am using GNOME as a DE.
