DNF by default does not update peripherally related packages during install. Note the version numbers involved - it's trying to install a newer version of the i686 package compared to the installed x86_64 package. This can happen with any set of subpackages, the whole set should be on the same version. It's not really a multilib problem per se. You should apply all available updates, then try again. -- Pete
