They finally got rid of the "you have to scroll the screen all the way up from the bottom" to get out of the lock screen.
Now it says click or hit any key. If you hit a key, it does get you out of the lock screen, but that key also winds up being passed to the password entry field as the first character of your password, so then you type your actual password and get a login error :-).
