I have some troubles while installing vlc on fedora 42:
Thefile/usr/lib64/vlc/plugins/codec/
libfaad_plugin.soconflictswithattemptstoinstallvlc-plugins-
freeworld-3.0.21-4.fc42.x86_64andvlc-plugins-base-1:3.0.21-24.fc42.x86_64.
there is no file libfaad_plugin.so :
ls -l /usr/lib64/vlc/plugins/codec/
total 0
Mystery!

Try using this command to install vlc
dnf5 --disable-repo=rpmfusion-free install vlc
