With respect, a webcast is a monolog, not a dialog, no? How can anyone respond to it? I think email is your friend here. Describe what you're doing and your rationale, the more concrete and specific the better. People can quote you and respond point-by-point if they like. If you have a "beta" site you're comfortable showing, I'm sure a mere URL would be enough to provide you with feedback. ;-) One other suggestion, if I may. If I were trying to do something like this on the scale you are, I'd visit the folks at OSDL or Mozilla (or similar) and ask about their experience. There're bound to be things they know to avoid, now.
