You must then accept the certificate and log with the user admin and use the password password. If you do not have the licence key (in Beta 1), you can not go forward. In a past private conf call with Ingres staff (and in the Beta 2 doc) they explain the licence key (also named entitlement key) permit to gain the automatic updates. I suppose then if you need to upgrade your database you must use the manual installation of the free Ingres2006 (or later) version ... Yes, you can schedule the following : - system reboot - system update (rpath & ingres) Then you choose if you apply the update manualy or automaticaly. But nothing to schedule checkpoints and so on. You can run a checkpoint from the web interface but it is not the best way (what happend if you close your browser ?) and I think the web interface to some Ingres stuff is just a proposal "has it" (it is not a web version of Visual DBA for example).
