Sorry I was not clear, Thomas. I installed VS2010. I did not install VS2010 Integrated Shell. After installing VS2010, I installed IronPython 2.7a1.
When I look under the Tools menu, I see an item named "IronPython Tools." I'm uncertain what difference you would expect to see using VS2010 Integrated Shell. Have a great day! -----Original Message----- From: users-boun...@lists.ironpython.com [mailto:users-boun...@lists.ironpython.com] On Behalf Of Thomas Shanks Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 2010 8:55 AM To: users@lists.ironpython.com Subject: Re: [IronPython] How to install IronPython Tools for Visual Studio? I'm not sure what you mean by "for free". I've tried starting VS 2010 Shell and looking for the solution / project types. They aren't in there. Did you do anything to install the plug-in? Where is the plug-in located on your system?
