What commands did you try? There are two flavors of DBD::Sybase, one with 
Sybase ASE
bindings and one for FreeTDS:

After installation you need to have the Sybase OCS installation in 
/opt/csw/sybase/OCS-12_5
as the RUNPATH is included in the Perl module:
  [10]    RUNPATH         /opt/csw/sybase/OCS-12_5/lib
You can also set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH to match if you have a different location.
