It just crossed my mind that a very simple way to intergrate maven with jEdit would be to talk to jEdit's server directly feeding the console-messages by sending the appropriate bsh script-snippets. That looks pretty easy as soon as I know how to plug log-listeners...
Ant used to have a little bit about that and I have the impression it will be almost the same... or is it even simpler that commons-logging is used ?
