The test:test goal can't find the JUnitTask. I think it might have to do with the fact that I have ant 1.6.1 installed. Maven 1.0-rc2 seems to rely on ant 1.5.3-1. In 1.5.3-1 the JUnitTask is in optional.jar. In ant-1.6.1 it is in ant-junit.jar.
I find the ant-optional-1.5.3-1.jar in $MAVEN_HOME/lib. It is also in $HOME/.maven/repository/ant/jars I've tried unsetting my other ANT_HOME, but still get the same error.
