Have you set unitTestSourceDirectory?

You must have this:

<build>
  <unitTestSourceDirectory>src/test</unitTestSourceDirectory>
  <unitTest>
    ...
  </unitTest>
</build>

Of course, replace src/test if this is not actually where you keep your test
sources.
