Hi, I have source code in multiple directories that I want to compile. How can I do that? I can't change the location.
I have read about build-helper-maven-plugin, but I have not managed to get it to work, e.g.: <project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/maven-v4_0_0.xsd"> <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion> <groupId>test</groupId> <artifactId>test-build-helper</artifactId> <packaging>jar</packaging> <version>1.0-SNAPSHOT</version> <name>test-build-helper</name> <url>http://maven.apache.org</url> <dependencies> <dependency> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>build-helper-maven-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.5</version> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>junit</groupId> <artifactId>junit</artifactId> <version>3.8.1</version> <scope>test</scope> </dependency> </dependencies> <build> <plugins> <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>build-helper-maven-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.5</version> <executions> <execution> <id>add-source</id> <phase>generate-sources</phase> <goals> <goal>add-source</goal> </goals> <configuration> <sources> <source>file:/somewhere/src</source> </sources> </configuration> </execution> </executions> </plugin> </plugins> </build> </project> In src/main there is java that uses the classes that would be compiled from /somewhere/src. If I run: mvn package, the compile fails saying it can't find the class that would have been compiled from /somewhere/src. What do I need to do?
