maven2 xdoclet2 plugin

hi all,,
 can anyone point me in the right direction for using maven2 xdoclet2
plugin?

i followed this link

http://xdoclet.codehaus.org/Maven2+plugin

to try, i wrote a simple pom.xml like in the example

when i run mvn:compile   i got following error

[INFO]

and when i run mvn xdoclet:xdoclet i  got this


[INFO] The plugin 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-xdoclet-plugin' does not
exist
or no valid version could be found


can anyone help me out on how to start? i got plugins working fine for
maven1, btu now i have
moved to maven2 ...
