You can use ADF Faces together with MyFaces and/or the Tomahawk components. Component libraries can generally be used together without problems, although I understand Tobago is an exception. Well you have to go for the Tomahawk nightlies to be able to mix ADF and myfaces, to my understanding. I know Bruno has fixed a long outstanding bug recently which prevented the mix of both component sets.
