Sorry, but that argument is backwards! If it is a bug in 12.0*, and it's not reproducible in 12.1 or in daily builds, then it could narrow down a fix that needs backporting. This is generally how LTS releases work in most projects, surely? * if after cache deletion, could be central / local indexing, or a dependency build, not completed?
