I just followed the Oracle instructions for Windows 10 installation of JDK 1.8.0_301, updating 131. Installation now properly shows the Windows 10 System Java version is jre1.8.0_301. However I can find only the jre. The jdk isn't anywhere on my machine. Without the jdk, I can't Add it as a Platform using the NetBeans Platform Manager.
What am I missing? Ed
