Well, the process hasn't gotten to any level of detail. I expect that
the EG will take what the major JPA implementations have done and
standardize the functionality. Or they will take an abstraction like
Patrick is talking about to produce a JPAQL string. There are
advantages and disadvantages to both techniques.

I think the best thing for us is to discuss on this list and then try
to influence the standard.
