Dave: I think you have to unzip the file you downloaded yet. Do you have a zip program on your computer? Also, you might have a corrupt download. How big is the download? it should be 80MB or so. You can test your download by going here and then following the instruction link: http://download.openoffice.org/1.1.4/md5sums.html Once it is unzipped, you have to doubleclick the setup.exe to install the program. It will add links to your menus to start the program.
