Intersting. Are you aware that each download image of OOo1.1.x has a
complete setup guide, SETUP_GUIDE.pdf, that contains complete
installation instructions plus we keep copies of this guide in various
languages on documentation.openoffice.org? Perhaps not.
I find that, as an instructor in the very basics (mainly MS Word and Excel), some people respond better than others to any given tutorial material, so I try to have a variety on hand.
There are other tutorials too, such as those at
