Thanks for the advice and request.

All this stuff is prebeta, and is supposed to crash.

The determining factor is that I am in the middle of a project
right now that requires both my XP machines. I can't risk losing
stuff on these machines.

1.9.69 is as stable as 1.1.4 is, except for the problem with the
QuickStart, which hangs my machine on boot. so I don't use
QuickStart, but I continue to use 1.9.69  It has most of the new
features, in particular it is as compatible as I could ask with MS
Office.

SO -- about python.exe not being able to find the python23.dll
Do I remove the software and reinstall? The "repair" option on
the installer doesn't fix the problem.
