Except that NeoOffice/J is based on OOo 1.1.4 only for now. But I work with it everyday, it is a really nice adaptation of OOo.

OOo runs under the X11 windowing system which is an optional install
under OS 10.4. An alternative that is more Mac like is NeoOffice/J which
is a port to the Mac using the Quartz windowing system and Java among
other things to give a more Mac like user experience.
