I have had much trouble with macros, but finally I found out how to manage them. For the particular problem with the toobar, I cannot help you.

I am writing because I am growing increasingly frustrated at the OpenOffice and its convoluted help section. When I go to the OpenOffice website and type in my query, the search returns with a number of results under different heading which are usually of no use and sometimes in different languages. I obtained OpenOffice because I support the idea of open-source software and supporting diversity within the marketplace. However, when I opened a text document this afternoon, the function toolbar was floating and now when I double-click the toolbar (as in Microsoft Word) or attempt to move the toolbar back nothing happens.
I would appreciate some help.
