md5sum (or md5sum.exe on Windows OS) checks the downloaded file to
see if is the same as what is on the OOo mirrors. There are
instructions on how to use it on the download page of
www.openoffice.org. (Bottom right corner under "Other Resources") It is
used after the file is downloaded and before the installation files are
extracted from it.
