Agree - have just tried deleting the macro's and agree it seems hard,
if not impossible, to do.

However you can set your macro security
(tools>options>openoffice.org>security) settings to 'very high' and
add the path to this file in the 'trusted list'.  If you do this then
you will not get prompted when opening the file.
