Hi I require that the Formatting from the originating cell to be the format for that particular portion of the resultant cell after a CONCATENATE of a several cells in an OO1.0 spreadsheet. I am drawing up a phone book and require that, in particular, that the Surname & the First Names retain their larger & bold font.
If there is any way to automate the very labour intensive process of entering each individaul cell, highlighting the names and then manually resetting the fonts back to how they were (just for those selected characters only) I would be most pleased. I tried to record a macro of what I was doing, but it would apply the required format to the whole cell (not just the name part) when I ran it again. Please note I found an Issue # (#17331) for just this thing, but it seems to have had no work done on it yet. Thanking you for any help you can offer' Warwick F.
