I still have the problem when I run as "root". Where would I look for the help-repository?


If this does not help you, please submit your question again. Only this time please let us know which OS you use and repeat the OOo release and tell us how you did the upgrade.


I'm running RedHat 9 Linux. I un-tarred the original tar-ball as

        /opt/OOo_1.1.4_LinuxIntel_install/

and ran

        ./setup -net -reinstall

Everything is world-readable in this directory. When I run the command

        Tools -> Options -> OpenOffice.org -> Paths

all of the paths refer to the installation directory

        /usr/lib/openoffice/

which is also world-readable. I'd assume there is some path that's wrong,
but unfortunately there is no explicit path listed for the Help-database so
I can't check it.

At worst, I suppose I can wait until I install OpenOffice 2.0 when it
comes out....
