One thing I find Lightning disappointing is it seems to be OS platform
dependent. That is you have to install different xpi for Windows and Linux.
And it seems to have some bugs running under 64 bit environment under Linux.
It is the main blockade for me to use a single profile of Thunderbird under
XP and Ubuntu. And finally, I decided to use Sunbird as an independent
calendar program. Evolution does seems to be an attractive alternative but I
miss all those Thunderbird addons.
