I have had problems loading programs, iTunes and earthlink for example, from
CDs to my computer that has Vista. I looked at flexiety Software Co.'s
listings. The list of Windows systems includes 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP and 2003
depending on edition, but not Vista. If I buy an Open Office CD will it load
onto a computer with Vista?

Yes, the latest Windows versions of OpenOffice are optimized for Vista. Another alternative for you, would be to go to a location with broadband
internet access, such as work, library, friend or relative, etc. and
download OpenOffice onto a USB drive or CD, to take home.

Another solution is to look at the CDs/DVDs that come "free" with computer magazines. These often have OpenOffice on them ready to install on your system. Just ensure the magazine covers Windows and not Linux, Mac or other OS.
