Came this utterance fomulated by Moss to my mailbox:
Why does Open Office Base (in 2.2 as well as in 3.0 editions) set the
ID number primary auto field incrementing from 0 instead of from 1?
This is the normal way for computers to count in integer binary.
Wouldn't almost everyone want to number ID their records starting with
the number 1 rather than the number 0?
Not especially, it makes no real difference. In human terms it is the
difference between real numbers and natural numbers. Can you identify
any situation where it matters? I can't. Don't sweat the small stuff.
