You seem to think that the download link always offers the Windows version - even the US English Windows version. I assumed that it detected the platform and perhaps language of the user's browser and offered the appropriate version. You would be offered the US English Windows version, but only because you are using Windows Vista and have your locale set to en-US. A quick glance at the source of the web page - it uses functions getPlatform() and getLanguage() - supports this idea.
