However, 3.1.0rc2 is available in numerous language versions at http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/3.1.0rc2_20090424/ . 3.1.0rc2 is much better than 2.4.0 and runs fine on my iMac G4 20" USB 2.0. ("rc" means "release candidate." The developers are always behind with deeming the PPC builds worthy of having "rc" removed from their filenames, due apparently to a lack of official testers.)
