My experience with spreadsheets hasn't been exercised since the last time I tried to do my taxes with Dynacalc. Circa 17 years ago. That program ran its screen in 2 modes, one mode for data entry, and another mode for formula entry. I need to make up a list of expenses for a 17 day work trip I just got back from, so I fire up Scalc. Nice pretty spreadsheet layout, all blank of course but after 10 minutes, its still blank. I can mouse highlight any box I want, but the keyboard won't enter data in that box, or any other place on the screen. If I type 3.75 while A1 is highlighted, it changes to A48 but nothing else happens. DataPilot says I should drag the stuff to the right into where I want it, but there is nothing to the right to drag & drop. Do I need a magic chicken, more coffee or ??
