Not really, Cor. Matthias said much earlier in this thread that what 'renaissance' was about was the implementation (aka copying) of "The Ribbon" in OOo, but called by a different name. So far, all the arguments in favor of copying the failure known commonly as "The Ribbon" go along the lines of copying it because it is from Microsoft. Again, OOo is about providing productivity software not copying. Base needs real UI work, Writer and Calc probably are the least problematic.
