I am not certain I understand your problem. Let me guess that you are using 1.1.x (hopefully 1.1.4) and have installed ALL the dictionaries et cetera that you need to support ENglish UK. You can check this by going to Tools > Options > Language settings and checking. Dictionaries that are installed show up in the lists with a little icon next to them so it is a simple matter of selecting what you need as defaults.
