Yes, you do.  Just as you take the, "I'm right, you're wrong stance."  Neither 
side can see the negativity in their actions.  Both are equally convinced they 
are right, which they feel gives them the right to behave with a certain degree 
of arrogance.  Yet neither side is able to see themselves and others do and see 
just how similar their actions are to the other side.

Yet you are just as insulting to those with religious beliefs as he is to those 
he perceives disagree with them.

Yeah, it's a good thing atheist regimes never do purges of religious groups.  
We know that's never happened.
