What does the OP want to happen?
It's possible to display a page number 1 on the second page without
forcing it to print as a right page, using a page variable field rather
than a page number field --
Edit the details for just the first individual paragraph (not the whole
paragraph style) of the page originally numbered 1 of 3 so that in the
"Break" section the "Page number" control is set to 0.
The first item in the header should be an inserted field for the
variable "Set page variable" with "on" chosen in the "Selection" area
and no "offset" entered.
Replace the "Page numbers" field with the inserted field "Show page
variable".
