Problem solved:
->Tools/Customize/Menus/Menu -> Tools | Macros | Record Macro -> Add
-> Menu/BASIC/Record Macro
-> close the Add box
-> Click OK in the Customize/Menus box
-> Voila: Record Macro is now an option.
